The Himalayan Corner Private Limited is a social enterprise company for profit –making and sharing profit to its farmer members. It is in function in market three years back in Kathmandu Valley.  It has Office in Satdobato, Lalitpur. Currently, it has one outlet (Organic Zone)-for eating and buying together place of around 1500 Sq. Ft. area with a training hall. It has an office of similar area rent for at one of building at Sumeru Mart.
This is a place where people can have taste of Himali products, produced by the farmers from Himalayan belt (Humla to Solukhumbu) and at the same time can buy from the store. It has goods selling store as well.
Furthermore, Himalayan Corner has a construction team of more than 10 people who are engaged in low cost housing with the use of eco-friendly Autoclaved Cellular Concrete blocks (one of the options for brick). The idea is to create timely and cost effective house construction with the concept of Build Back Better after the occurrence of mega-earthquake on 25 April 2015. Right now, these human resources are engaged in constructing two storied truss building in Kathmandu Valley.

Background of establish of Himalayan Corner Pvt. Ltd.:

Large area, less population, scattered habitation, geographically normal, less production but valuable production, more import, less industries, more than 70% of income use in food and clothing, lack of business awareness, seems to be active in politics. It has been discovered while studying whole surface of Himalayan region that around 90 % of products of basic need which is necessary in Himalayan region have to be imported more than 200 percentages expensively. Whereas, it has been deemed that organic product of Himalayan is unable to get suitable price due to lack of well-managed market and in the other hand business is unable to operate regularly and because there is no direct change in living status of people living in Himalaya, this Himalayan Corner has been established with an objective to recover this need.

WHAT WE AIM? WHAT WE WANT DO?
Himalayan Corner Private Limited aims to uplift income of farmers from the subsistence farming into entrepreneurship farming. Himalayan Corner will share membership to these farmers from far-away from capital city, collects their goods/products, provide rational value/prices on the spot or exchange the necessary goods/products in bartered system; and sell them for the benefit of people in urban areas of capital city. In this way, Himalayan Corner is playing the role of bridge by bringing together rural and urban Nepal.
Side by side, Himalayan Corner will be playing transformative role of passing the knowledge, skills and technology of safe eco-friendly house construction to younger generation. Up to now, Himalayan Corner has machinery and equipment worth of half of million Nepali Rupees.
BUSINESS PLAN/HOW CAN YOU HELP?
The Himalayan Corner aims at raising seed money $100,000 to purchase and sell in profit different produces and or goods of members farmer by the Himalayan Corner directly;  to help to build the network of farmers and adding value chain to products of farmers based on season and off season. The Himalayan Corner aims at having network and membership of 1000 farmers by the end of 2018; 2000 farmers by the end of 2019 and 3000 farmers by the end of 2020. The collection of items/goods will reach urban population up to 25,000 customers by the end of 2018, 30,000 customers by the end of 2019 and by 35,000 customers by the end of 2020.
